Privacy and analytics

Last updated September 28, 2026. ZEC Rewards uses information to operate member accounts, track eligible activity, explain rewards, improve the site, and measure which pages and campaigns bring visitors to us.

Information used for your account

When you sign in or use an earning feature, we process account details and activity needed to associate shopping trips, surveys, referrals, and reported rewards with your account. If you request a payout, we also need the wallet address and transaction details needed to process and record it. A reported reward may remain under review and is not an available balance until validated under the applicable terms.

Analytics and advertising

If you allow optional analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, PostHog, and Metricool to measure visits, navigation, and the performance of our site and marketing. The site also loads its affiliate tracking script after that choice. These services may use cookies or similar identifiers and receive information such as pages visited, device or browser details, and approximate location derived from network information. If you separately allow advertising, we have linked Google Analytics to Google Ads so that eligible site activity may be used to build advertising audiences. Global Privacy Control signals keep this advertising choice off. We do not receive a list of named people from Google’s audience tools. You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center. Merchant and offer tracking

When you choose an offer or shopping link, we and our affiliate or survey partners may use click IDs and transaction references to attribute activity, determine eligibility, detect misuse, and reconcile commissions and rewards. A merchant or survey provider operates its own site or service under its own privacy terms. We do not ask you to give a partner your ZEC wallet address to complete an offer.

Free guide requests

If you request our free ZEC guide, we record your email address, request time, and any campaign parameters in the link you used. We email a confirmation link that expires after 24 hours and record when you confirm the address. The PDF opens after confirmation. A separate, optional checkbox requests a short beginner email series and occasional platform updates; those emails begin only after confirmation. You can unsubscribe through each marketing email. We do not infer marketing consent from requesting the guide. We use request information to understand where interested readers came from and do not ask for a wallet address or recovery phrase for the guide.

Communications and control

We may send account and reward updates needed to operate the service. Optional marketing updates require an opt-in and can be unsubscribed from using the link in those messages. Your browser can also limit or remove cookies, which may affect measurement or reward attribution. For questions about your account data or a request concerning your information, use the Ask us control on the site.

You can reopen Privacy choices from the bottom of any page and change your selection. Essential account and reward records still operate when optional tracking is rejected. Before launching paid personalized advertising, we will review the applicable targeting and consent requirements for the locations where ads are shown.
