Shopping Assistant Privacy

When you open the ZEC Rewards Shopping Assistant on a web page, it reads that tab's website domain and sends the domain to ZEC Rewards to check whether an eligible shopping reward is available. The request also carries standard network information, including an IP address used to determine country eligibility. The check happens only when you open the extension popup.

The extension does not read page contents, forms, passwords, wallet addresses, or your browsing history. It does not insert links, alter coupons, track tabs in the background, or redirect you automatically. The merchant lookup is not used to create a shopping click or reward.

If you choose to visit a reward page and start a tracked shopping trip while signed in, ZEC Rewards records the member, offer, rate, and click ID for attribution. See our affiliate disclosure. Standard site analytics and hosting logs may process request metadata when you use the website or the lookup service.
